Account Setup

Creating an IDM WebApp account is free and gives you access to cloud sync features.

1. Go to app.idmartech.com/register
2. Enter your email and create a password
3. Verify your email address
4. Complete your profile

Login & Authentication

Access your IDM WebApp dashboard at app.idmartech.com/login

Supported login methods:

• Email + Password
• Google Sign-In (coming soon)
• SSO (coming soon)

First Login Walkthrough

When you first log in, you'll be guided through:

1. Creating or selecting your workspace
2. Adding your first site
3. Syncing an audit from IDM Crawler
4. Inviting team members (Professional/Agency plans)

Create Workspace

1. Go to Dashboard → Workspaces
2. Click "Create Workspace"
3. Enter a name (e.g., "Acme Corp Marketing")
4. Choose your plan (Starter/Professional/Agency)
5. Click Create

Manage Workspace

Workspace owners and admins can:

• Rename the workspace
• Change the plan
• Invite/remove members
• View usage statistics
• Delete workspace (irreversible)

Invite Team Members

Professional and Agency plans allow team collaboration.

1. Go to Workspaces → Manage (from the workspace list) → Members
2. Click "Invite Member"
3. Enter email address
4. Select role (Admin/Editor/Viewer/Client)
5. Send invitation

Roles & Permissions

IDM WebApp supports five roles:

Add a Site

1. Go to Dashboard → Workspaces → Manage
2. Click "Add Site"
3. Enter the website URL
4. Give it a display name (optional)
5. Click Register Site

Once added, you can sync audits from IDM Crawler to this site.

Manage Sites

From the Sites page, you can:

• View all sites in workspaces you own and collaborate in
• View audit history for each site
• Access Manage site

Site Settings (Manage Site)

Each site has configurable settings:

• Notification preferences
• Client access (Agency only)
• Custom tags for organization
• Site-specific notes
• Assign users to a site
• Remove users from a site
• Delete a site (will delete all historical audit data and scan results)

To delete: Sites → Manage → Click Delete Property.

View Audit History

The Audits page shows all synced crawls:

• Date and time of audit
• Overall governance score
• Pages crawled count
• Scripts count
• Unmanaged Tag Count
• Crawl Mode
• Download report (PDF/CSV)

Audit Details Page

Click any audit to view detailed results:

• 5 Pillar scores with breakdowns
• Detected vendors list
• Unmanaged tags
• Performance metrics
• Data layer events captured

Compare Audits

Track governance changes over time by comparing audits:

1. Select two or more audits
2. Click "Compare"
3. View score changes side by side
4. See new issues vs resolved issues

Export Audit Data

Export audit results in multiple formats:

• PDF - Professional report for stakeholders
• CSV - Spreadsheet format for further processing

How Sync Works

IDM Crawler runs audits locally on your machine. Syncing uploads results to your cloud workspace.

Sync from Crawler

Prerequisites:

• IDM Crawler v0.9.0 or later
• Logged into your IDM account
• Site added to your workspace
• Write permissions (Owner/Admin/Editor role)

After a crawl completes, the "Sync to Cloud" button becomes available. Click it, select the destination workspace and site, then confirm.

Cloud Limits by Plan

*Local audits in IDM Crawler are always free and unlimited on all plans.

Troubleshooting Sync

• Sync button hidden → Your role doesn't have write permissions (Viewer/Client)
• Sync fails → Check internet connection, try again
• Site not found → Add the site in WebApp first
• Cloud Workspace(Organization) limit reached → Upgrade to Professional which allows more workspaces

Generate Report

From any audit detail page, click "Export PDF" to generate a professional report.

Reports include:

• Executive summary
• 5-Pillar scores
• Detailed findings with severity
• Vendor detection list
• Recommendations

Plan Overview

IDM WebApp offers three plans:

• Starter (Free) - 1 active cloud project, 30-day retention, 1 user, up to 50 pages per crawl
• Professional ($59/month or $590/year) - Unlimited cloud projects, 90-day retention, up to 10 users, up to 500 pages per crawl
• Agency ($149/month or custom annual) - Unlimited everything, white-label reports, client portals, unlimited pages per crawl

Upgrade Plan

1. Go to Workspace Settings → Billing
2. Click "Upgrade to Professional"
3. Choose monthly or annual billing (annual saves 17%)
4. Enter payment details (processed securely by LemonSqueezy)
5. Confirm upgrade

Manage Subscription

After upgrading, you can manage your subscription from Workspace Settings → Billing:

• View current plan and billing cycle
• Update payment method
• View billing history and download invoices
• Cancel subscription (access continues until period end)

You'll be redirected to the secure LemonSqueezy Customer Portal for payment changes.

Billing History & Invoices

View all past invoices in Workspace Settings → Billing → Payment History. Click "Receipt" to download PDF invoices for accounting purposes. Invoices are also emailed to you after each successful payment.

To cancel: Workspace Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription → Cancel Subscription → Confirm.

Payment Failed?

If your payment fails, you'll receive email notifications. You have 7 days to update your payment method:

1. Go to Workspace Settings → Billing
2. Click "Manage Subscription"
3. Update payment method in LemonSqueezy Customer Portal
4. Retry payment

After 7 days of failed payments, your subscription will be suspended and you'll lose access to paid features.

Profile Settings

Manage your personal account settings:

• Name and email
• Notification preferences

API Keys (Coming Soon)

Professional and Agency plans can generate API keys for programmatic access.

1. Go to Account Settings → API Keys
2. Click "Generate New Key"
3. Name your key
4. Set permissions (read/write)
5. Copy and store securely (shown only once)

To delete: Account Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account → Confirm with password.

Sync Issues

• Button disabled: Login required or no write permission
• Sync fails: Check internet, retry
• Data not appearing: Allow a few minutes for processing
• Duplicate audits: Manual cleanup required

Login Issues

• Use "Forgot Password" to reset
• Check spam folder for verification email
• Contact support if locked out

Billing Issues

• Payment failed? Update payment method in Billing Settings (redirects to LemonSqueezy)
• Wrong charge or double charged? Contact support@idmartech.com with invoice number
• Need refund? Email support within 14 days of charge; refunds at IDM's discretion
• Upgrade not showing? Wait a few moments for webhook processing, then refresh the page
• Trial ended but not charged? Check your payment method is valid in LemonSqueezy
